Let your passion for nutrition and wellness take you places you never imagined. The School of Nutritional Sciences and Wellness offers study abroad programs to give you a global perspective on food, nutrition, exercise, and more, all while you earn credits toward your degree.
This five-week, hands-on Nutritional Sciences program starts with one week of coursework in Tucson, Arizona, followed by four weeks in Verona, Italy. You'll explore the Mediterranean diet's health benefits, food preparation, agriculture, and cultural activities, including visits to olive oil, pasta, and parmesan cheese processing plants. Learn how Mediterranean dietary patterns impact chronic disease risk, metabolic pathways, and overall quality of life.

Spend a semester in Australia studying Nutrition and Human Performance at UA Sydney, immersing yourself in local culture while living in the heart of the city. You'll attend the University of Technology Sydney, the top young university in Australia and the leader in research impact, all while paying regular UArizona tuition and using financial aid and scholarships. Our faculty have preapproved courses to count toward your major requirements, and you can take regionally specific general education courses with advisor approval.
